Clean Oceans Project Identification and Preparation (COPIP) for Sub Saharan Africa

A snapshot of waste disposal and treatment in Sub-Saharan Africa, as well as the levels of plastic pollution in its waterways. This presentation gives an overview of the organisation’s mission and outlines how COPIP plans to help to create cleaner more sustainable oceans. COPIP contributes to the improvement of financial, economic, social and environmental infrastructure in targeted countries in Sub-Sharan Africa. The organisation has 675 staff working in 43 office on 42 different projects across Africa.

This presentation outlines key activities COPIP will be undertaking to achieve its goal of improving waste disposal and treatment, and reducing the amount of plastic waste that ends up in the ocean.
